Background 
T&S and Klarco have always had a very strong presence in the Middle East Market and have been present on projects for 4 decades. Our brands have enjoyed strong recognition, project wins and great success here but the market has turned in the last 8-10 years. This had made it more challenging to close projects and sell to the region. 

Challenge
Being premium and market leading brands, our product quality, durability and reliability comes at a cost. Heavier duty, higher quality materials, global certifications, lowest lifecycle costs means the price of our product reflects what we put into them. Over the past few years the market has been driven in the direction of intense cost sensitivity, especially when we talk about commercial plumbing products. The MEA region has become washed with lowest cost product and cheap "copycats" from all over the world - though we find it flattering that everyone wants to mimic us.

In 2022, T&S and Klarco partnered with Amplify Me to overhaul its regional approach. The strategy focused on these key areas:

Specification: Amplify ME has helped solidify existing specifications with Consultants and Brands whilst bringing new connections and partners into the fray. They have helped introduce new avenues and Consultant partners who now include T&S and Klarco in their projects specifications. 

Dealer Growth & Awareness: Our brands were actively promoted through Amplify Me’s established dealer network and consultant relationships. Again solidifying business with dealers we knew already but added many others across the UAE and Saudi Arabia in particular. Our quotations are now up by 30% and we're closing more business than we were in the last 5 years or so. 

Multiple Product Lines: Amplify ME have helped with market awareness of our multiple brand level lines. Not many Dealers or Consultants were aware that T&S and Klarco have several brand levels at varying price points. The Team at Amplify helped establish these lines across varying specification needs ; 5 star, 3 star, SABER certified for KSA and retail business. 

Outcome & Conclusion

The outcome has been extremely positive. T&S and Klarco now have over 3100 project quotations out in the market across 990 projects which involve over 120 dealers in the network. This continues to grow and we're very busy following up thanks to Amplify ME.
